Eddystone Point Lighthouse

This is the Eddystone Point Light House and is part of the network of navigational aides around the coast. It was established in 1889 and was originally a manned lighthouse with some houses for the staff nearby. It is located in the Bay of Fires Conservation Area.
It is built on an area significant for the local Aboriginal peoples and has been handed back to them.
