I am in a basic kind of mood today so i thought i might post this photograph with its imaginative title Trees, Smoke, Hills that I took back in April south of Bicheno. Maybe i should have included paddock in the title too?

Not Recommended to Stand in a Blow Hole
Its traditionally not recommended to stand in a blow hole but these guys were. More remarkable is that at the time this was taken (19 April) its half way through Autumn and things aren’t as warm as summer which just makes the water colder!
Bridge Ruins?
In Buckland driving by i often notice these particular ruins. I am thinking the remains of an old bridge but there is nothing around to confirm that fact
